This week has been a rough week to say the least. So, all of those investigators that we put on date for baptism a couple weeks ago just dropped us. When Misty Parris, our golden investigator, dropped us it was particularly difficult. It has ended up being a good thing, though. It has made me realize that perhaps I had gotten lax in doing things like my personal study and, in general, focusing on the mission. The sentiment is the same throughout the district, and we have decided because of that we are going to do what is referred to as the purification challenge. Basically, you start with a fast, make a list of everything that inhibits you spiritually, and then you don't do those things for forty days. So far it has gone pretty well. As far as things that we have done this week, we basically have spend the entire week trying to find people to teach. So far we haven't had any luck, but that is the point of the challenge.
